As the sun sets over Bangalore our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We will embark on a comfortable journey of 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Mini Bus with push back seats ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers. We will pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. > 10:00 PM: Start from Banashankari > 10:15 PM: Quick pickup BTM Layout > 10:30 PM: Next stop Silk Board > 10:45 PM: Board at Bellandur > 11:00 PM: Assemble at Marathahalli > 11:30 PM: Pickup at Tin Factory > 11:50 PM: Picking up at Indira Nagar > 12:00 AM: Meet us at Halasuru > 12:10 AM: Join at MG Road > 12:30 AM: Board at Mekhri Circle > 12:40 AM: Quick pickup at Yeshwanthpura > 12:50 AM: Last pickup at Goraguntepalya Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. We will make sure to cover all the places on the itinerary. Day 1 - Waterfalls for the Eyes and Temple for the Soul > 06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Check in to the homestay > 07:00 AM - 08:00 AM: Freshen up and have breakfast > 09:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Visit Samse Tea Estate > 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Reach Horanadu Temple have Darshan and lunch either temple prasadam or lunch in a nearby hotel self sponsored > 02:30 PM - 04:30 PM: Visit Soormane Falls Jeep ride is self sponsored > 05:30 PM: Visit Hanging Bridge Kalasa > 07:00 PM: Reach homestay have dinner and rest Day 2 - Bandaje Falls! > 05:30 AM: Wake up call > 06:00 AM - 07:30 AM: Freshen up have breakfast and carry packed lunch Note: Kindly book at least 2 weeks in advance to secure forest permits. Limited slots will be available. Early confirmation is highly recommended. > 07:30 AM - 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Bandaje Falls Trek Jeep ride > 09:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Start the trek and reach the falls in approximately 3.5 hours > 12:30 PM - 01:00 PM: Have packed lunch > 01:30 PM - 02:00 PM: Start the descent > 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Enjoy the serene beauty > 03:00 PM - 06:00 PM: Trek downhill to reach basecamp in approximately 3 hours > 06:00 PM - 06:30 PM: Reach homestay and sip tea with snacks > 08:00 PM: Depart to Bangalore > 05:30 AM: Reach Bangalore Drop off Points: The drop off points will be the same as the pick up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.
