Toffee & Talk Book Club Meet-Up — Nov 2026

About this month's book: The Bookshop Woman by Nanako Hanada A bookseller in Tokyo is navigating a personal crisis. She downloads an app called 'Perfect Stangers' and starts meeting people and recommending them books that might change their lives. It's a cosy and charming, bookish memoir about unexpected connections, starting over, and the magic of finding the right book at the right time. How does this book club work? We'll have fun ice-breakers, guided book-of-the-month discussions, bookish games, and engage in some fun reading journal and activities to keep things interesting. You will also receive cute book marks and a custom-made zine to take away! All materials will be provided. To read along before the meet-up: Join Toffee & Talk Book Club on the Fable app. It's completely free and open to everyone.
