Some stories have been silenced. Some voices have been buried. But there are certain words that refuse to remain silent. In a society that decides what women should experience, how they should behave, what they should hide and what they should never speak about, is there really space for their true voices? SAY IT ANYWAY! is a bold theatrical exploration that brings to the stage the stories, experiences and unspoken emotions hidden behind the silence of women.

The play explores the conflicts surrounding a womans existence, body, desires, freedom, humiliation, identity and the expectations imposed upon her by society. Words that were swallowed without being spoken, pain hidden deep within, struggles silently endured and the courage to reclaim ones own voice form the heart of this theatrical production. Honest, intense and thought provoking, this play does not merely invite the audience to watch. It encourages them to listen, question and reflect. Because sometimes, simply speaking out is an act of resistance. SAY IT ANYWAY! Even when the world tells you not to.
