DAY 2 - TEMPLES, HERITAGE AND RETURN TO BANGALORE MORNING BEGINS WITH CULTURE Start with a visit to the Virupaksha Temple, an ancient and active temple of spiritual significance. LOTUS MAHAL A unique blend of Indo-Islamic architecture, this delicately designed monument was once a royal women's residence, equipped with natural cooling systems. ELEPHANT STABLES Visit the grand domed chambers that once housed royal elephants, showcasing remarkable architectural symmetry. SASIVEKALU GANESHA TEMPLE Admire the enormous monolithic statue of Lord Ganesha, carved from a single stone. SHREE BADAVALINGA GUDI A tranquil temple housing a towering Shiva Lingam submerged in water, surrounded by an ancient spiritual atmosphere. LAKSHMI NARASIMHA TEMPLE Marvel at the statue of Lord Narasimha, seated in a yogic posture and protected by the hood of the serpent deity Sesha. VITTALA TEMPLE COMPLEX End your Hampi exploration at the iconic Vittala Temple, home to the legendary Stone Chariot and Musical Pillars, a remarkable example of Vijayanagara architecture. DEPARTURE FOR BANGALORE After a fulfilling day of exploration, depart for Bangalore in the evening. Expected arrival: Late night or early morning at your designated drop-off point.
